Kim Huynh graduated
from Hendrix in 2002 with distinction in foreign languages. She double majored in
French and Spanish and was the webmaster for the Foreign Language, Admission, and
Financial Aid websites during her years at Hendrix College. Kim is currently in
Dallas, Texas, pursuing a career in web design and starting her own web design company
at Jade Oracle. Some of her
other websites include Sierra
Planet and Dimensions
of Arcanum. She plans to eventually attend graduate school to pursue a master's
degree in foreign languages.
Holly Bone graduated from Hendrix in 1997 with a B.A. in French.
During her junior year she studied abroad at the Université de Besançon in France.
She later received her M.A. in French from American University in Washington, D.C.
Holly now works at the Luxembourg Embassy in Washington, D.,C., where she is the
top aide to the Ambassador of Luxembourg. She uses French extensively in her work.
Michele Halsell graduated from Hendrix in 1982 with a bachelor’s
degree in French. She earned a Master of International Management degree in 1987
from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). She
has lived in Paris, France, where she taught high school English, and in Brussels,
Belgium, where she was a Rotary Scholar at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Prior to joining the U of A, Ms. Halsell worked in marketing as an assistant
product manager at Tyson Foods. She became a peer counselor in the Office for Non-Traditional
Students at the U of A in 1994. In 1996, she joined Student Support Services as
a Student Development Specialist. In March 1999, she accepted the position as the
Managing Director for the Graduate School of Business at the University of Arkansas.
