Hendrix College sponsors student participation in study abroad programs. There are currently three study abroad programs in China at Hendrix.
To pursue Chinese language study, go to Heilongjiang University
in Harbin, China. Harbin is a beautiful northeast Chinese city famous for its ice and snow in Heilongjiang, a province bordering Russia. The language courses will be taught in Chinese.

If you are interested in economics and business, go to East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai, China. Shanghai is a metropolitan and the center of economics and business in east China. The courses will be taught in English, and it is also possible to take some Chinese language courses.
To enjoy liberals arts education while exploring Chinese cultures, go to United International College in Zhuhai, China. Zhuhai is a coastal city and a gateway to Macau in southeast China. You may take a variety of courses in English just as at Hendrix. The courses will be taught in English, and it is also possible to take some Chinese language courses.
