Rules and Regulations
General Facility Regulations apply to the Free Weight Room. In addition the following regulations apply to this area:

Closed toed athletic shoes must be worn at all times. No sandals, work boots or bare feet are allowed in the facility at any time.

Shirts covering the shoulders and back must be worn at all times. No bare chests or sports bras.

Jeans and cut-off shorts are not permitted. Clothing with rivets, exposed zippers, etc. may not be worn in contact with upholstery.

Spotters are recommended for all areas and must be provided by participants. Attendants CAN NOT act as spotters.

Participants must clean area after use with cleaning products supplied.

Be respectful of property and return it to the proper location when done.

Weights are not to be leaned against walls, mirrors or equipment.

Participants will use extreme caution in moving equipment and weights to avoid any potential injury to themselves or others.

Weight must be controlled down and are not to be dropped or banged during or at the conclusion of repetitions.

Reservations
Exclusive use of the free weight room is available for the Intercollegiate Athletic Teams during designated times. Outside use of the Free Weight Room can be made by contacting Erin Saluta.
