Guidance for In-Person Visit
In the interest of the wellbeing of our students, faculty and staff, guests are expected to adhere to the following:
- Face coverings (e.g., mask, plexiglass face shield, etc.) are required in public (indoor and outdoor). Visitors who arrive on campus without a mask will be provided one from the Office of Admission.
- Physical distancing of six feet is always expected whenever possible in classrooms, meeting rooms, laboratories, and offices.
Guests will be required to partake in a brief CoVID-19 screening. Upon entry into the Dawkins Welcome Center, staff will deny entry to:
- Visitors who have ≥ 100.4˚ F temperature
- Visitors who answer yes to any of the following
- Do you have a cough, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms typical of CoVID-19?
- Have you had contact with a person known to be infected with CoVID-19 within the previous 14 days?
At this time, the following modifications have been made to our visit program:
- Faculty and administrative meetings may be scheduled in-person or through virtual platforms such as Teams and Zoom
- Prospective students and their families may visit the dining hall for meals
- Visitors will not be able to enter the Residence Halls
- Prospective students will not be able to visit classes
Visits to campus must be scheduled. You can schedule a visit to campus at hendrix.edu/visit.
Alternatives to an In-Person Visit
If you are unable to visit in-person or would prefer not to travel, we are still available to “meet” with you. To see a list of our interactive virtual events, videos showcasing different aspects of our campus, and other ways you connect with members of our admission staff and campus community go to hendrix.edu/virtualexperiences.
