In the interest of the wellbeing of our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their families, Hendrix College has taken the decision to operate with a remote-learning model. Those students who are able have moved out of the residence halls and classes are not being held on Hendrix’s campus. Embrace the Orange and Junior Visit Day have been cancelled.
The Admission Office has canceled modified visits for the foreseeable future. When visits resume they will include an information session with an admission counselor and a guided walk around campus. We will not be able to schedule faculty talks or classroom visits.
If you are unable to visit in-person or would prefer not to travel, we are still available to “meet” with you.
If you’re looking for an opportunity to learn more about Hendrix and the Odyssey Program, join us for a Hendrix Virtual Experience (HVE). HVEs will last about 45 minutes and will include a talk with a counselor and a discussion of student Odyssey experiences. You will have the chance to interact with a counselor and ask questions of interest to you. Sign up for Hendrix Virtual Experience on our visit calendar.
We are here to help. Students who need one-on-one time with a counselor to talk about unique circumstances or next-step conversations should consider scheduling a meeting individually with a counselor. Visit your counselor’s home page to get started.

Our students are eager to share their HDX experiences with you! These one-on-one conversations are a great opportunity to learn about academics, Odyssey, student life, transition to Hendrix and more from a student perspective. Head here to check availability, read over the student bios to see who you'd like to connect with, and register.
Experience our campus without leaving home. Join three Hendrix students on a walk as they share some of their favorite places and experiences on campus.
