I don’t see a specific menu of vegetarian options or special
dietary requests, what do I do if my guests require these?
Our chef and catering manager work with each customer to determine an
appropriate complementary vegetarian dish when desired. In addition, we
are happy to either prepare a special item or modify the existing entree to
meet any special dietary requirements.
Do you cater only Hendrix College events?
No.
Anyone is able to reserve our campus facilities and therefore use our
catering services.
Do you travel/deliver?
At this time we are unable to provide a delivery
service.
Are there dates or times that are not available for catering?
We operate on the same schedule as our Dining
Services department, which is essentially identical to the Academic Calendar as
far as dates go. Anytime our regular
kitchen is closed, we cannot provide catered services (i.e. Saturday evenings,
summer break, winter break, etc.).
Is there a minimum or maximum guest count?
We can cater events for as few or as many people
as you like, inasmuch as our facilities allow.
Can you provide alcohol at an event?
We will not purchase alcohol for an event, but
we can serve alcohol purchased by the client.
Is the cost of linens included in the “per person” charge?
The cost of linens is included for meals, but is
a separate fee for receptions.
Can I select my linen colors or centerpieces?
Our Catering Manager will work with you to
select colors and accents that are available from our suppliers.
Am I required to prepay for an event?
No, prepayment is not a requirement. In fact, it is recommended that you wait for
an invoice to issue payment, to avoid a balance due as a result of guest count
or other changes that may occur.
Is locally grown food and/or organic an option for your menus?
It is an option, available upon request from our
customers. Due to increased costs with
procurement of these items, there would be an additional charge for these
menus.
