CONWAY, Ark. (October 18,
2017) – The Hendrix Well-Being Initiative introduces “A Better Way to Pursue
Happiness?” a lecture and interactive workshop by positive psychologist and
well-being scholar, Dr. Lahnna Catalino of Scripps College, on Wednesday,
October 25 in Worsham Performance Hall (first floor of the Student Life and
Technology Center).
Dr. Catalino will discuss
the myths and science about happiness, then lead a brief workshop on how to
apply the science of happiness to everyday life. The event will begin with a
“Dining and Data” period from 5:30 to 6 p.m., when all attendees will have the
opportunity to participate in a brief research survey about personal well-being
while enjoying snacks from Layla’s Gyros and Pizzeria (available on a first-come,
first-served basis). The lecture and workshop will run from 6 to 7 p.m.
