Concert to Commemorate All Souls’ Day October 30

CONWAY, Ark. (October 16, 2017) – The Hendrix College Chamber Orchestra on Monday, October 30 will present an All Souls’ Musical Meditation in advance of All Souls’ Day. Music begins at 7:30 p.m. in Greene Chapel.

The Chamber Orchestra will be joined by student organist Thomas Alexander '18 and the Compline Choir to present Maurice Durufle’s Requiem, an Odyssey Project undertaken by Mr. Alexander. 

The program will also include a new work by Professor of Music Dr. Karen Griebling, “Rainbow Man.” The piece’s title is a reference to a Native American spirit from the Zuni tribe of New Mexico.
