Hendrix Welcomes New Director of Alumni Engagement

CONWAY, Ark. (August 31, 2017) – The Hendrix College Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement recently hired Jenny Kyle as Director of Alumni Engagement. She began work in her new position August 14.

Kyle has extensive experience in higher education, and most recently served as director of student services for the College of Nursing at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her background also includes college admissions and grant management. In her work with Hendrix, she will focus on implementing a comprehensive alumni program with a nationwide reach, manage social media relating to alumni interests and events, and support alumni activities and involvement with the College.

“We are thrilled to have Jenny bring her wealth of experience, friendships with many of our alumni, and her excitement and energy to the position,” said Pamela Owen, Associate Vice President for Alumni and Constituent Engagement. “She is a wonderful addition to our staff and to the Hendrix community at large.”

Kyle holds a Master of Science with a concentration in college student personnel services and administration from the University of Central Arkansas, and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in journalism from UA Little Rock.

“Working with students, their families and alumni is my absolute passion, and I’m so glad to be a part of the Hendrix College community,” Kyle said. “Everyone has been so welcoming!”
