CONWAY, Ark. (April 18, 2017) – Hendrix College computer science major Patrick Niyongabo ’17 is one of the 10 winners in the 2017 Acxiom Diversity Scholarship.

Olivier Kwizera ’18 was one of two 2016 Acxiom Diversity Scholarship recipients who will receive an additional $5,000 renewal scholarship this year.

According to a company press release, the initiative offers $5,000 scholarships to U.S.-based students from diverse backgrounds who are enrolled in a full-time post-secondary degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Quality, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics and Statistics or related areas of study.

Diversity Scholarship recipients are selected based on their ability to demonstrate a combination of academic achievement, field of study aimed at Information Technology, and professional interest as it relates to Acxiom’s business needs.

This is the program’s sixth year.
