Hendrix & True Holiness Saints Center Team Up for Charity

CONWAY, Ark. (April 15, 2013) -  The Power 92 Jammers will play the Conway All-Stars in a tie-breaking charity basketball game on Friday, April, 26 at 7 p.m. in the Hendrix College Wellness and Athletics Center at Harkrider and Siebenmorgen.

The game, co-hosted by Hendrix College and the True Holiness Saints Center, will benefit the Pine Street Community Backpack Program, which provides backpacks filled with needed school supplies for K-12 students to start off the new school year.

In addition to the backpack program, the Pine Street Community Development Center sponsors a food bank, health clinic, and pre-school program free of charge. The program also offers haircuts, hot meals, and opportunities for children and their families to meet and talk with community leaders and role models in the field of education or strong advocates for education.
