Modern Dance Company to Perform at Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. (January 19, 2011) — Kansas City based contemporary dance troupe, Kacico Dance, will perform a concert on Thursday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Staples Auditorium on the Hendrix College campus. The concert is free and open to the public.

Kacico Dance, a not-for-profit professional modern dance company, was founded in 2005. The company creates and maintains a high quality dance repertory facilitated by artistic skill, knowledge, experimentation, and collaboration. Visit www.kacicodance.org for more information on Kacico Dance.

Prior to their performance at Hendrix, the troupe will appear in an improvisational performance titled “Dance Happens” at the Faulkner County Library on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. This event is also free and open to the public.
