CONWAY, Ark. (April 26, 2024) — Hendrix College will host a college search information event for the Small Town and Rural Students (STARS) College Network on Wednesday, May 1, at 7 p.m., at the Dawkins Welcome Center on the Hendrix campus.
STARS is dedicated to working with high schools and access organizations to widen pathways to higher education for rural and small-town students.
The program will feature a 40-minute information session on topics like holistic review, financial aid, and how to best set up your college application. Following the information session, prospective college students and their families will have time to browse a mini-college fair of participating institutions from across the country.
In addition to Hendrix, the college fair will include representatives from colleges across the country, including Caltech, Case Western Reserve University, Colby College, Columbia University, Northwestern University, The Ohio State University, University of Chicago, University of Southern California, Vanderbilt University, University of Wisconsin, and Yale University.
