Application should include a letter addressing the candidate's interest in teaching in a demanding liberal arts environment, an overview of the proposed research program and how it will involve undergraduates, a curriculum vitae and three letters of recommendation (including the phone numbers and email addresses of the referees), and transcripts of all graduate and undergraduate work. Applications from candidates with an interest in participating in the common freshman course and other interdisciplinary programs, and in using instructional technology where appropriate, will be particularly welcome.
