Scholarships can work for you to help lower the cost of your Hendrix education.

Hendrix Achievement-Based Scholarship
Hendrix College Scholarship
Eligibility: Based on GPA, standardized test scores, leadership
and extracurricular activities, recommendations
Amount: $20,000 and up
Application: All accepted students receive an award based on a holistic review of their application materials.
Scholarship for Semi-National Merit and Hispanic Finalists
Eligibility: Accepted applicants who are selected as Semi-National Merit or Hispanic Finalists
Amount: $3,000
Notes: Finalists must name Hendrix as their first college choice
Application: The scholarship is automatic upon notification from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (National Merit and National Achievement) and the College Board (National Hispanic) if the student is accepted
IB Diploma Recognition Award
Eligibility: Accepted applicants who are IB Diploma candidates
Amount: $3,000
Notes: IB Diploma candidacy must be confirmed by student's high school if not listed on the transcript
Application: The scholarship is automatic upon IB Diploma candidacy confirmation if the student is accepted
Robert & Ruby Priddy Scholarship
Eligibility: Middle-income families
Amount: Varies
Notes: All accepted students automatically considered
Application: FAFSA must be completed
Competitive Scholarships
Hays Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: 3.6 GPA, 32 ACT, 1430 SAT (Statement
on Comparing ACT and SAT results)
Amount: Tuition, double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited
board plan (without Burrow Bucks), and mandatory fees
Notes: The Hays Scholarship is renewable
for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0
or higher and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award

President's Scholarship
Eligibility: 3.6 GPA, 32 ACT, 1430 SAT (Statement on Comparing ACT and SAT results)
Amount: Tuition; half the cost of a double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited board plan
Notes: The President's Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Madison Murphy Leadership Scholarship
Eligibility: 3.6 GPA, 32 ACT, 1430 SAT (Statement on Comparing ACT and SAT results)
Amount: Tuition; half the cost of a double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited board plan
Notes: The Madison Murphy Leadership Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Provost Scholarship
Eligibility: 3.6 GPA, 32 ACT, 1430 SAT (Statement on Comparing ACT and SAT results)
Amount: Tuition
Notes: The Provost Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Dean's Scholarship
Eligibility: 3.6 GPA, 32 ACT, 1430 SAT (Statement on Comparing ACT and SAT results)
Amount: $3,000 per year in addition to your Hendrix College Scholarship
Notes: The Dean's Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Hendrix Impact Scholarship
(formerly known as the Leadership Scholarship)
Eligibility: Demonstrated record of leadership, activities, and
honors
Amount: $1,500-$5,000 per year

Eligibility: Based on talent in music, theatre, dance and art; open to
non-majors

Arkansas Scholarships
Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholarship
Eligibility: Visit the Arkansas Department of Higher Education's Website.
Amount: The scholarship amount is determined each February for
new students enrolling during the following fall.
Notes: Arkansas residents only
Application: Complete the Arkansas Department of Higher Education's
Universal Scholarship Application by February 1
Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship
Eligibility: Academic achievement and test scores
Amount: $1,000 freshman year $4,000 sophomore year $4,000 junior
year $5,000 senior year
Notes: Arkansas residents only.
Application: Complete the Arkansas Department of Higher Education's
Universal Scholarship Application by July 1
Hendrix Scholarship for Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholars (GDS)
Eligibility: Accepted freshmen applicants who receive the $10,000 Arkansas GDS
Amount: The scholarship amount and number of scholarships are determined each February for new students enrolling during the following fall.
Notes: See Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholarship below. The Hendrix Scholarship* is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award *Limited number of awards available
Application: This scholarship is awarded to recipients of the GDS who know of their awards and deposit by May 1. Students awarded the GDS or who deposit after May 1 will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Scholarship America
and the Dollars for Scholars family of community scholarship foundations. Hendrix
has agreed that Dollars for Scholars awards of up to $1,000 per student will not
adversely affect scholarship funding provided by Hendrix.
