Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar Lecture by Dr. Kathleen McGarry

Kathleen McGarry is professor and chair of the department of economics at UCLA and a research associate with the National Bureau of Economic Research. McGarry’s research focuses on the well-being of the elderly with particular attention paid to government programs and the transfer of resources within families. McGarry’s current work analyzes end-of-life medical expenses, and differences in spending by disability status.
