About Hendrix College

The after life

Where to next?

If you’re one of the Hendrix students to win a Watson Fellowship (we’re the only institution in Arkansas whose students are eligible to apply) you might spend the year after graduation traveling the world, learning about a subject that interests you. Or, you might spend a year at Teach for America or receive a Fulbright award to fund a year of teaching/studying abroad.

Hendrix is among the country’s top producers of student Fulbright Scholars, according to The Chronicle of Higher Education. Numerous Rhodes Scholars, Goldwater Scholars, Jack Kent Cooke Scholars, Truman Scholars, and Marshall Scholars are also Hendrix graduates.

Back to the classroom

If graduate school is your choice, here’s good news: Hendrix graduates get into great grad schools and do well there.

  • #33 in doctorates in all disciplines
