Ensembles

At Hendrix, anyone can play. Our Chamber Orchestra, Choir, and Wind Ensemble welcome students from every major—biology to business, physics to philosophy. Rehearse with friends, take the stage in regular on‑campus concerts, and hit the road for tours across Arkansas and the surrounding region. 

• Earn academic credit toward graduation—and it’s free. Participation in our Major Ensembles carries course credit with no additional fee. 
  

• Satisfy core requirements. Performing in our Major Ensembles counts for Odyssey credit and fulfills the Expressive Arts learning domain. 
  

• Build community. Collaborate with classmates, faculty, and guest artists while bringing live music to audiences on and off campus.
