• Hays Memorial Scholarship Competition Weekend

    Here are the nuts and bolts for the scholarship weekend.

  • How to be considered:

    All students entering college in 2021 who apply for admission by November 15th will be considered to participate in the weekend

    In the past, participation in the competition weekend was by invitation only. Details on the new awarding process for 2021 in light of gathering restrictions due to the pandemic will be posted by August 1.

  • Available Scholarships

    Students participating will be considered for the following scholarships:

    Hays Memorial Scholarship

    Tuition, double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited board plan, and mandatory fees 

    The Hays Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award 

     

     

     

    President's Scholarship

    Tuition; half the cost of a double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited board plan

    The President's Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award 

     

    Madison Murphy Leadership Scholarship

    Tuition; half the cost of a double occupancy residence hall room, unlimited board plan

    The Madison Murphy Leadership Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award 

     

    Provost's Scholarship

    Tuition

    The Provost Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and selects housing and meal plan options covered by the award 

    Dean's Scholarship

    $3,000 per year in addition to your Hendrix College Scholarship

    The Dean's Scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
