The Health Sciences emphasis in Kinesiology utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to provide strong undergraduate preparation in health sciences. The program provides a thorough understanding of the human body by including a comprehensive array of courses and laboratory experiences while emphasizing health, fitness, and wellness. The Health Science major effectively prepares students for professional programs in physical and occupational therapy, nursing, physician assistant, preventive health or graduate programs in kinesiology.
