Dallas Black Dance Theatre, founded by Ann Williams, celebrates over 30 seasons as the oldest, continuously operating professional dance company in Dallas.  The ensemble, a contemporary modern dance company, presents a mixed repertory of modern, jazz, ethnic and spiritual works by nationally and internationally known choreographers which include Alvin Ailey, Talley Beatty, Alonzo King, and many others. This program will bring a company of diverse, multi-ethnic troupe of dancers that create and produce contemporary modern dance at its highest level of artistic excellence through performance and education that bridge cultures and reach diverse communities.  Hendrix students will be given the opportunity to work in a master class with the dancers.
