We are committed to providing an excellent education in both theoretical and experimental physics. Our students are able to experience physics in the classroom, in the lab, and in the research lab.

August 2007 -- The department is pleased to welcome two new faculty members:  Dr. Damon Spayde and Dr. Todd Tinsley.  Our new faculty members are replacements for Dr. Bandyopadhyay, who left the department to become Division Head of Science at Penn State Berks a year ago, and Dr. Rolleigh, who will retire at the end of the 2007-2008 academic year.
