The median annual income of these alumni is between $50,000 and $74,999. More than 25% of them make more than $75,000.

Graduate School

About a quarter of Hendrix graduates enroll in graduate school within the first couple of years of graduation. Our grad school acceptance rate is among the best in the nation for law and medical school.

MEDICAL SCHOOL

Our 75% Medical School acceptance rate is the highest in Arkansas, and among the highest in the nation. According to AAMC, the national average acceptance rate is 45%!

GRADUATE SCHOOL

We are the top-ranked college in the South for students who obtain advanced degrees in both Psychology and Computer Science. Among 170+ private liberal arts colleges in the nation, Hendrix ranks 9^th (Psychology) and 16^th (Computer Science).

IN DEMAND

Hendrix students are in demand for post-graduate professional programs. We have direct admission agreements for students interested in law, public health, ministry, and engineering. Our average LSAT score of 160 is higher than the national average by 8 points.
Student Development

Our employment and graduate school outcomes are no coincidence: every Hendrix student benefits from individual advising and intentional programming that translates the college experiences into the skills and abilities that employers and graduate schools are looking for. At Hendrix, we call those Career Readiness Competencies and we integrate them across the entire campus – both in the classroom and in student life.

Career Term

Every sophomore at Hendrix has the opportunity to attend Career Term: A dedicated three-day professional development experience that helps students gain confidence, connect with alumni, and plan future career goals.

COMPETENCIES

Beyond the books, our students learn career competencies through all facets of campus life! We recognize that skills employers are looking for come through a wide variety of experiences: in the classroom, on the playing field, in clubs and organizations, and much more.

INTERNSHIPS and ENGAGED LEARNING

We are the national leader in experiential learning since 2004. Our students complete internships, research, travel abroad, and volunteer opportunities with guidance from faculty and staff.
