Playwright's Theatre: Rook Bishop King Queen

Playwright's Theatre produces dramatic readings of new plays by current or former Hendrix students. Rook*Bishop*King*Queen by Robert Preston Jones ’75 is a dramatic speculation on the events leading up to the prosecution of Anne Boleyn, second wife of King Henry VIII. Jones’s first play, The Stroop Report, won the Hendrix-Murphy Playwriting Contest in 1999 and was later produced in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.
An audience and cast discussion will follow the reading.
