Three students from the Schurko lab presented their summer
research at the Third Annual Central Arkansas Undergraduate Summer Research
Symposium on July 23 at UAMS in Little Rock.
Jake Higgins presented the work that he and Meghan McFadden
completed this summer in a poster titled “Investigating the Role of Histone H2A
Variants in the Unprecedented DNA Repair System of Bdelloid Rotifers."
Lettie Hattabaugh and Erika Jasso also presented
their progress on their summer project in the poster titled “Sexual Healing:
Examining the Role of Meiotic Genes in DNA Damage Repair.”
