Students answered the questions: How would you assess your overall expereince at AGS? and How effectively did the Director promote a constructive environment at AGS?
It was fantastic. I loved being here and will miss all the friends I made and the great discussions in the class setting. I love my roommate as well.
It was a blast, I can hardly put it into words.
It was one of the best/most fun-filled months of my life.
I miss home, but it was good.
I loved AGS. It was super fun.
One of the greatest times I’ve had in a long time. I highly suggest moving it back up to six weeks.
Loved it. Don’t want to leave.
I have grown so much here it is crazy. The Gospel Choir was amazing and had an enormous effect on my life. I’m glad I came to AGS.
I had a great time. I have learned more about myself than I could have anywhere else this summer.
It was enjoyable.
I loved it. I wish it lasted longer. I don’t want to go home.
It has been one of the most enjoyable times of my life.
I loved it and would go it again.
A very enjoyable experience that opened my mind to a lot of things.
Very beneficial and life-changing. I will walk away with alot of new knowledge, experiences, stories, and friends.
I’ve had so much fun, but I’m ready to go home! haha
My overall experience was amazing. AGS really gave me a new way of thinking about everything.
It was great. It was very relaxed and challenging. I enjoyed it a lot.
I can’t even put into words how much I enjoyed this remarkable experience. Every minute was great. I have learned so many things and made so many lifelong friends. This opportunity has truly made me happy. I loved it.
Overall, I LOVED AGS. It was such a fantastic experience. I learned a lot about myself and others. I’ve really become more motivated and I feel very blessed to have been able to take part in the program.
AGS really changed my perception of the world.
I loved it. Very beneficial. I’m so glad I came. Some people may say they wasted their summer, but I think it was a summer well spent.
OMG I wish I didn’t have to leave. It has been so great! I wish this was my high school. It makes my actual school seem blah in comparison. The teachers are awesome and I wouldn’t have been able to experience the different activities elsewhere.
Life changing.
AMAZING
Class and outside environment good, dorm life AWFUL!
AGS ranks as one of the best experiences –if not the best experience – of my life. The teachers were wonderful, the RAs fun, and the classes interesting. I loved the sheer number of the activities and lectures that we were given the opportunity to attend. I made a lot new friends and opened up out of my shell. Leaving the comfort of my box was beneficial.
It was a good experience and I will recommend it to others.
One a scale of 1-10? a 9! I wish that more people were able to go on field trips. I think more in-dorm activities would have been nice to get to know more people.
It was incredible! I really don’t even know where to begin.I not only learned more about myself, but also I now have a better outlook on learning and school in general. Plus made tons of friends that I can tell will be lifelong friends..
It was pretty good, though I have been to better summer learning experiences before. They were better due to more freedom; we were allowed to have phones and leave campus at certain times and had better food. I left campus in NYC and I can’t do it in Conway, AR?
A wonderful experience. I wish it was longer.
It was great. Everything I could have asked for.
AHHMAZING
How do I even use words? My experience at AGS has been the best experience of my life. I have grown both as a person and as an intellectual because of the environment and opportunities presented here. I have made life-long friendships, broadened my mind, and I have gained a newfound sense of independence that will no doubt help me in my looming college future. LONG LIVE AGS.
Positively enriching.
Pretty great. I would come again and again if I could. This is a fantastic program that I would definitely advise anyone to take advantage of.
Great (except for Area II). Area I was fun and I learned a lot.
I enjoyed it, but a lot of the time I had to filter what speakers/teachers were saying because it was coming from a biased viewpoint.
An extremely life changing experience. Made some amazing friends. Best four weeks of my life so for! I would recommend this to anyone that showed some interest at all.
It was great. The only major negative: it’s only four weeks.
It was an unforgettable, life changing experience.
Life-changing. Honestly. I could write pages, but I want to go play Ping-Pong.
It was amazing and something I will never forget!
Amazing, Perfect – No problems.
I can’t even begin to explain how much AGS means to me and how much it has affected me. This is a fantastic program.
It was quite amazing to put it frankly.
My overall experience at AGS is mind blowing. It is a fantastic program that I hope continues forever! It is just wonderful and lifechanging!
It was amazing, I wish I never had to leave.
My overall experience at AGS was a total blast. If I could rewind time and do it all over again I would. I enjoyed the Gospel Choir to aT. I’ve made wonderful friends, met wonderful people, and had an awesome time!I love AGS!
It was completely worth it and a wonderful once-in-a-life-time experience. I learned so much and was able to meet and connect with people. Thank you so much for this opportunity.
Much more enjoyable than expected; enlightening.
My AGS experience was amazing!
Time of my life and I’ll definitely view the world differently after this.
It was great. It didn’t change my life or anything, but it was a really awesome experience.
9/10. A great experience I will miss.
FANTASMICAL I loved every minute of it…even Koyaanisqatsi (it was pretty cool).
It was a wonderful social experience and especially good learning experience.
Saying I never want to leave and that this has been the single best experience of my life are two massive understatements.
It has been the best experience of my life so far.
It was life-changing. AGS has broadened my mind in so many ways, taught me new ways of thinking, and I made so many friends and established great relationships. I LOVE AGS.
11 out of 10.
I have been so impressed with all the interesting people I have met and also all the things I have learned – without tests!!
AGS was a learning experience in all aspects of my life. It opened doors to new opportunities, allowed me to understand people better, and also in a way made me miss home and family…!
It was a great experience that I’m glad I took. It’s taught me a lot and I feel better prepared for life.
It was good. I wouldn’t say that it was life changing like so many in the past have professed, but it was a stimulating, enjoyable and a tiring way to spend four weeks. I’m sleepy. I think I’ll go take a nap after finishing this eval.
Great! My AGS experience has made me a better person.
Best four weeks of my life.
My overall experience was great. I’ve made plenty of close friends.
Overall, glad I came. I feel I made a difference in someone’s life here and I’m glad I came.
Super fun, one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. Love the people, the teachers, and the sports. Social Science lectures were great, class material not so much. Not a big fan of Area II and III.
Lyle Rupert.
AMAZING. I learned alot and had fun.
All of it was helpful. I love the art; Area II is just like my Epistemology class at school. It was good to have new people for discussion.I never had a problem, and I love all the activities.
I love AGS. If I could, I would stay. I made great friends and learned a great deal. This is the shiny, golden bird-singing-in-the-trees no rain on my parade (except the days that it rained) time of my life.
I viewed it as very one sided indoctrination. Many of th eseminars that “went against the grain” or tried to get you to “think in different ways” had many major flaws and holes in their presentation and yet went right over them. If I were a parent I would not send my son/daughter to this camp, not to shield them from it, but there are major issues with the topics of which are not addressed. They sound much more convincing than what they really are and they wouldn’t be coming at all if both sides or even the“holes” were presented.
It was as good as it could be. I was getting very homesick and a little bit of cabin fever but his was still a thought-provoking, life-changing experience.
An enjoyable and beneficial experience. I was exposed to new ideas, and ways of thinking that have had a positive impact. Good balance between learning and free time.
It was one of a kind. I learned some vital lessons and got a great pre-college experience. I am going to be more aware as a result.
It’s the best summer I’ve ever had.
Hakuna Matata!! AGS is a problem free society where all you do is have fun, even while learning which is an aspect a lot of schools lack.Between the parties and classes it’s impossible to not have fun.
Overall, I really enjoyed my AGS experience. We were forced into an environment with people we didn’t know and made friends and connections. I’ve learned and enjoyed the new friends I’ve made.
I had more fun than I thought I would; however, I had troubleinteracting with a lot of my classmates because there is an air of arrogance and pride at AGS.
Moderately beneficial and I appreciate why colleges will be glad I attended just as I am. I don’t feel changed but the thought provoked may have helped me to develop my plans for my future.
Very positive. I wish I could do this every summer.
It got better. I started out kind of skeptical and unhappy with many classes but now this feels like home. I have been put out of my comfort zone, but in a good way, I think. The main lesson I take away is that I need my introvert time or I’ll go insane – so really I learned more about myself than anything else. I’ve enjoyed it, and I’m sure I’ll have fond memories.
AGS has been wonderful. My self-confidence has soared in a place of learning filled with enthusiasm and friendly people.
I had a wonderful experience and will forever remember this opportunity given to me.
Awesome.
It’s an experience I will always remember…shoulda kept a notebook to keep track of it all!
AGS has been one of the few experiences in my life where Icould actually say I have never been more fully content.
AGS has helped culture, educate and challenge my thinking.I’m sad to be going home so quickly but I look at this as a must-have into my transition into adulthood. I wish my senior year was here at AGS!
This was truly an amazing experience. I am still not ready to go home. It was wonderful being with people that had an interest in learning and I loved being able to bond with people that had nothing in common with me except our desire to learn. I really, TRULY, enjoyed AGS!
AGS was very enjoyable and I have made so many friendships.I even managed to learn a few things.
It was AWESOME. I am walking away with knowledge I never thought I would have and memories I will always remember.
--Mind blowing
--Life changing
--Overall amazing
Terrific! I would do it all over again if I could and I wish it was six weeks instead of four weeks.
I loved it here! I will not forget this ever! I am very aware of who I am thanks to my experiences here.
AGS was beneficial in many ways, even though there were rough times. The good outweighed the bad.
I had a pretty positive experience at AGS. I feel as though my way of thinking has been altered and that I’m much more open and willing to question things that I see and here.
Being in Social Science, it was a great experience academically. However, socially, I felt I never meshed with the community or found a niche. This is mostly my fault.
It was life-changing. I can make friends or acquaintances so much easier and has definitely broadened my mind to thinking outside my little, selfish high school bubble.
Very helpful; essential, even.
It was a great experience, one I will never forget and to be honest, if I could do it over I would. Gospel Choir was also great, I hope that program stays.
Positive, most definitely changed the way I view the world.
I am very pleased with my experience. I grew as a person, and consciously noticed every step of the way. Thanks.
I say beyond some of the disagreements everything else was good.
It has been life changing. Not necessarily eye opening but it has been an extremely positive experience.
My overall experience at AGS was amazing. There was plenty of activities to do every day that were fun and interesting. There were several ways to meet new people everyday and get involved.
Fine (stop asking stupid questions).
Fantastic. I loved it. It changed my life.
I have definitely gained a lot from it. I have met new people, discussed new ideas and participated in things I probably would have never done.
Life changing and it has made me a better person.
It was incredible and I’m glad I had the chance to come. No tonly were the teachers great, but all of the staff. I love Mrs. Mimi, Martha,Amy, Sandra (cafeteria staff).
I loved it. Mind-expanding classes, great people, endless things to do – AGS has been the experience of a lifetime.
One of the best experiences possible! A miniature utopia.
I absolutely loved it. I feel enlightened and pushed, but in a very good way. I wanted to learn, listen, and grow. I’ve met fantastic people and loved every minute.
It was absolutely wonderful. I loved being surrounded by the other like-minded people and learning new things and had a blast doing so.
Enjoyable! I missed my family but I consider AGS my family as well.
Neutral. I feel that I came with too much of a high expectation. One positive thing is that I learned more about myself and am motivated a lot more to be active in my community. AGS Gospel Choir was great though I’m not religious, but I loved it! Keep that alive!
I loved it.
It was a blast, I’m sad it was only four weeks.
My experience at AGS was life changing. I feel like I am very self-confident now, and more able to achieve things/goals that are within and/or out of my reach.
AGS was an amazing experience I will never forget. I only wish it was six weeks long.
AGS was a good experience overall. I really enjoyed the classes, especially in Area I. It was nice to have two Area I classes per day. I also felt the morning and afternoon classes followed by optional seminars was effective organization. The required speakers could be a bit boring but generally they had interesting and insightful things to say.
Intellectually stimulating. Exposure to a variety of influences has helped me to grow as a person while here.
Overall, I feel that I had my expectations too high for AGS.I made great friends, enjoyed the various movies, 4:10s and 6:10s and engaged in various recreational experiences. The birthday celebrations, the RAs and th eteachers made it a very unique experience that I will never forget.
I loved AGS. I think my Area II class and Gospel Choir made it the best experience ever! I loved Gospel Choir. I think it changed me as a person. Ms. Pam was great.
I loved it! The people here are awesome and so talented. It’s one of the greatest feelings ever relaxing outside on the beautifulHendrix campus really getting to know the people around you. Especially if they are really smart.
Overall this experience truly exceeded my expectations. It has been a thrilling, challenging, and absolutely unforgettable part of my life.
So much fun! I don’t want to go home. The campus is beautiful. I’ve made so many friends, I got involved, I loved the discussion, and for the first time, I’m truly looking forward to college.
AGS was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Meeting new people and being enlightened are a great mixture. Instrumental Music was phenomenal, Gospel Choir was super fun, all the lectures were interesting, and class was delightful.
Absolutely amazing. I really don’t want to leave. It’s been a great experience.
I liked it a lot.
IT WAS AWESOME! I absolutely loved it!
Flipping Sweet
It was good – learned much.
It was a great experience to have. I will never forget the people I met and the things I learned here.
Simply amazing. This was by far the best four weeks of my life.
It has been wonderful! I’ve had an awesome time!
Great experience everyone should visit AGS before graduation. Fun, fun, fun.
Wonderful
I had a great time and learned a lot. Thanks so much.
Great!!!
FABULOUS!
AGS was definitely worth the four weeks it takes out of the summer. I would recommend AGS to anyone.
100 million times more amazing than thought can comprehend.
One a scale of 1-10; definitely a 10!
Near-perfection. I had an amazing time and learned so much.
Very nice for a guy who likes his solitude.
My overall experience is that I’m sad to be leaving. I had the best experience. I will miss AGS.
I enjoyed the opportunity.
It was an excellent experience. I’m glad I came. It gave me a good taste of college life and I really enjoyed it.
AGS was one of the best experiences of my life. The wonderful staff and community made this the best experience for me.
I learned a lot about myself, others, and my area I study. I also learned a lot about life and critical thinking. I had fun, and overall will live better.
I wish I could stay here forever. Every aspect of AGS is incredible and it changed my life.
I could have stayed for six weeks; I loved it.
Good. It was overall a good experience. Sometimes the ruleswere annoying – like no cell phones, but I understand why they were rules. In never got cafeteria duty!)
It was amazing! I was so fortunate to come and will recommend it to everyone I know!!
It was very good. I think everyone needs to go.
Overall, I really enjoyed myself. Loved the 4:10s and 6:10s.
This was the most amazing experience. I thrived as a student and as a person. The environment encouraged me to evaluate myself and my ideas.I am inspired.
Something I’ll never forget and always miss.
I loved it. I wish I could just stay here with these people and these classes, forever.
It was alright, but it wasn’t at the level of fellowship and generosity as AGS was promoted as.
I loved every minute of it.
Great! Aside from the various illnesses…
This is the best experience of my life.
AGS changed the way I look at life and the world I live in(and therefore, ME!)
ASKLDJ; HMQRKACB!! Life-changing. Incredible.Supermegafoxyawesome hot.
Life changing. I will never forget the people I met and the things I experienced.
The best thing that I’ve ever done.
ENLIGHTENING!
Fantastic and mind-blowing!
It was a life changing experience.
This is the most fulfilling and exciting event thus far in my life. I can’t wait to apply all that I learned here to the rest of the world.
I had a great time. I loved all the activities and freedom we had here.
I really enjoyed my time and all the new friends and LADIESI met at Governor’s School, not to mention how my mind was blown almost daily by the new knowledge.
Amazing. The best month of my life hands down. It’s such an unbelievable program that should continue forever.
It was perfect.
My overall experience at AGS was amazing. I feel rejuvenated with new information and perspectives.
I really wish I’d gotten more from my classes, but the lectures, activities and social environment made it worth it.
The best summer (or overall) experience of my life.
Very worthwhile; it helped me grow as a person exponentially.
I am so glad that I was accepted! I have learned so much here about the world and myself. I can honestly say that the friendships I have are some of the most honest I have ever had. I am excited about the potential this program continues to have after so many years. It is truly one-of-a-kind; my only wish is that it would last longer.
Can’t recommend it for upcoming juniors enough!
For me AGS was a time for rebuilding myself and growing into the man I will become.
Omgz! I love it here and I wish I didn’t have to leave. There are so many awesome and amazing people here!
It was so much fun. I learned so much and made so many friends. I would do it again.
It was fun. liberating, and educating experience, and I’m very sad that I have to leave.
A 10/5 stars!
Gospel Choir was my most favorite part of AGS. AGS should continue the program and it was so much fun and exciting. Pam was the best.
It was an experience I will never forget.
AGS was intellectually stimulating and enjoyable. I had a great time.
Would do it all over.
A magical and fantabulous experience which I am blessed to be a part of.
Best four weeks of my life to date.
I have been trying to find words to explain how wonderful and enjoyable this program is since I got here…You have to be a participant to truly understand.
Awesome, very beneficial.
C+ I didn’t like my classes much, but mostly for reasons beyond the AGS administrator’s control. I think the application process should be tougher.
Words can’t describe it. I will never forget it, and it would almost be insulting to try and describe it in words. Best thing ever.
100 out of 5. There really aren’t words to express this experience. It’s something that you have to see for yourself. I will never forget the connections I have made in this place.
Though not thoroughly enjoyable, it was thoroughly beneficial.
I really enjoyed my AGS experience! The worst part was Staples’ toasty temperature!
It was really amazing. I learned a lot, made new friends and had a great time.
I want more!
I loved my experience at AGS and would do it again. I’m definitely recommending this program to younger students.
Very good!
I wish AGS was six weeks long, still I’m going to miss everything about it!
It was good. I had fun. Met some great people.
I enjoyed every second of my experience at AGS. This will be in my memories forever. I would definitely recommend this program to all my friends.
I LOVE it. I want to come back as an RA so that others can come and have the awesome experience I’ve had.
The BEST summer program that I’ve been to so far!!! I really enjoyed the Gospels Choir, sporting events, as well as the speakers, and film presentations. I will be coming back to visit next year. I am an official critical thinker.
I had a great time! I learned a million things!
WONDERFUL!! I loved it. I kind of wish it was still a six week program so I could stay longer.
AGS has changed my life in so many ways. I will never be the same after this experience. Thank you to everyone who helped in that!
Definitely life changing. Allowed me to open up to new ideas and be able to find out about myself and freely express it.
I had a great time at AGS. It’s one of the best times I’ve had in high school and I’ve learned a lot about myself. I feel like I’m much more prepared for the transition to college too.
AMAZING, life-changing, my bro is coming now. LOVED IT ALL.
I enjoyed AGS immensely and would do it again, however, I would have enjoyed more freedom with my time because I didn’t enjoy very many speakers and would rather have gone to a seminar of my interest.
Amazing. I made long-lasting friendships in AGS. I will recommend many people to this program. It’s a life-changing experience.
I think it is a once in a life time opportunity that if given the chance no one should miss out on.
It was the best thing to ever happen to me.
I would pay for this experience. I cannot believe my school doesn’t promote this more. I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything in the world.
A really great experience that I would repeat if possible.
I loved my experience and glad I was able to attend. My month taught me ways of life and I believe I am ready for college.
I’d say on a scale from 1 to 10 it would be an 8 because the interaction phase was memorable and gospel choir… speechless. It brought me close to those I hadn’t gotten acquainted with, but we surely became closer.
I loved the experience. I made a lot of new friends, enjoyed safety and learned several life experiences.
It was great. I wish I had gone for something other than choir music though because I felt I never learned in there like everyone else did in their Area Is.
It was overall amazing. As cliché as it sounds, I feel changed, more confident.
I have thoroughly enjoyed AGS. I love the atmosphere, the teachers, classes and seminars. This is a great program and I would highly recommend it to any junior.
It was a very eye-opening experience. I learned a lot and also things I didn’t know about myself. I loved it.
It was great! The programs here kept me engaged and developed me and my abilities.
AGS has been so amazing! I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
There is nowhere I would have rather been. However, it is what you make of it. I wish I could do it again with the knowledge of what I should do differently.
BEST EVER! I learned so much, met so many people, had so much fun, got away from demands of everyday life.
I will miss AGS so much! I really wish that it was six weeks long. The last day is going to be so sad, but I’ll never forget this place.
Fun but sometimes overwhelming. I can't stand too many people screaming /yelling,especially at night. I liked making new friends.
It was okay. Not all everyone said it would be, but I’m not disappointed. A lot of it was personal, this is not for the weak of heart! But I’m alive and well, so I guess it wasn’t too bad. I survived.
The time was very constructive. There was always something to do whether it was on the schedule or not.
A very good experience: created an environment that simulated open thinking and meaningful discussions and conversations.
AGS, as you know, cannot be described well enough in this tiny space. AGS was a wonderful and beautiful experience. It was challenging and an open and positive experience. Very, very pleased with the program!!
I’ll use it wisely.
It was one of the best experiences of my life. I will be sad when I leave. I can’t wait to come to the reunion next year! I love AGS!!
HAPPINESS I want three more weeks here. It was a fantastic program. I want to come back.
A once in a lifetime, life changing experience that I wish would last longer.
It was the best thing I have experienced. AGS, oh AGS. A squirrel among acorns, you are the best. If ever I was to pass life’s test, question reality first at AGS.
I give it a 4 – If Area II hadn’t come to play it would havebeen a 5 – Music Area I = 5.
AMAZING! I wish it was for six weeks…this has been great, I’ve learned so much about myself and society as a whole.
This experience has forever changed me as a person and I hope that it can affect others like me.
There were some aspects I did not enjoy, but overall I enjoyed it.
Out of 10, it’s a 20!
I do not know where to begin. This has to have been the best experience I’ve ever had EVER. I’ve met so many eccentric people and absorbed and learned so much. AGS has not forced any beliefs on me but made me realize who I really am.
I had an amazing experience! Wish it was still six weeks but I had fun all the same. Soooo glad I came. Thank you AGS.
9.3223141592654 x 10 269/10 Clear enough?
I was a little bit disappointed because everyone that came back from AGS last year said it was such a life-changing experience, there is no better way to spend one’s summer, but honestly I don’t feel the same. Sure, I learned some cool things and I learned some stuff about myself, but overall my views and opinions nor (I think) my way of thinking has changed that much.
I loved every moment. AGS has been a life changing experience.
Time well spent.
Some good moments – quite a few bad moments.
It was phenomenal.
The biggest cult experience ever! – life changing.
WONDERFUL! I wish I could stay.
Freaking Awesome
I would say that this has been borderline life changing and completely wonderful.
Magical. I hate that I am leaving. I have learned more about myself than I have in the past 17 years.
Loved it! But, get more chemistry and biology for Natural Science. I’ve talked to tons of people and they came for chemistry and biology. Most want to be doctors, not physicists.
AGS has changed my life. I have met so many amazing people and the classes have changed the way I view the world. I love it here and wish I could stay longer.
I LOVED it here! This was the best experience of my life!! I really wish that AGS would have been the six week program! I would do this again in a heartbeat!
I enjoyed it thoroughly, though I am sad that I did not have more time here.
My overall experience was life-changing and I would no tchange any of it. I’m so thankful for all of the friendships I’ve made and teachers I’ve met.
A + I’m glad – no,I’m grateful, appreciative, and extremely ecstatic that I was able to experience AGS. There is nothing else like it. Absolutely nothing can compare to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I’m happy I can tell others I was part of AGS.
Very positive.
I really enjoyed it, I think four weeks is the right amount of time for this program.
Extremely effectively.
AGS was a great experience. I don’t know how I’ll go back to regular school.
I came here emotionally unstable. This experience was ablast, but I felt upset half the time.
It was awesome. Zero complaints.
I really enjoyed AGS but the RAs made the experience less enjoyable for me. I felt like they tried to find the wrong in us. It got annoying.
Loved it. I think I’m truly blessed to be one of Arkansas’ brightest to come here.
I don’t want to go home!
By far one of the greatest experiences of my life!
There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe AGS…
Very beneficial, I enjoyed AGS thoroughly. It definitely changed my outlook on some aspects within my life.
A wonderful experience. I feel bad for those who could not attend.
Scrumdiddlyumptious
I really had a unique experience. AGS taught me how to think critically and use my talents.
Only one word can describe it – FANTASTIC!
This has been a great experience here. I can now go back home and view the world in a different way than I did before.
It was fun. I realized some things that I need to work on and get some things figured out.
On a scale of 1-100, I would give it an 8 billion.
My overall experience was incredible! I loved every minute of it.
One of the best experiences of my life.
My experience was extremely positive – I have enjoyed all of my Areas and the discussions during Areas II and III.
I had so much fun while I was here and wish it lastedlonger.
I enjoyed most of my time at AGS. I was homesick the first week, got the stomach virus during the third and did not get much sleep. However, I learned so much and got to meet new people.
AGS was wonderful! I was not intellectually challenged in Social Science as I would have hoped but everything else was extremely helpful.
INCREDIBLE! Sorry, that’s the only word I've got.
AGS was a great experience. I’ve met new people. I’ve learned new things. I’ve gained new skills. I had a great time.
AGS was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of this place was extremely intellectual.
Amazing, I learned so much about myself, others, about new ideas and expanding my mind. I have so many great memories of AGS.
It was wonderful and perfect.
One of the best experiences of my life, I don’t want t oleave! I wish it was six weeks long.
HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!
My overall experience was great, and I don’t want to leave.
It was a productive and highly enjoyable experience.
It was okay. I’m more than ready to go home, and I’m not sad about doing it. Area I was frustrating and infuriating. Area II did nothing for me (I already think about things that way anyway), and I can’t really say much about what we did in Area III. We seemed to do so little. But it wasn’t an awful experience. I like the people…mostly. And I had fun being with them…mostly.
Mind-blowing, wonderful, amazing and the list can go on so I would like to say it.
My AGS experience was more than I ever thought it would be.It changed the way I think, it opened my mind, and developed my character.Thank you, AGS.
BEST MONTH, AMAZING, FANTASTIC, JOYOUS, WONDERFUL, GREAT!
It was wonderful. I’ve learned so much, met so many awesome people, and had so much fun.
10+ out of 10 Very beneficial

It was wonderful. I feel like I know more about myself and the world. I see everything differently now. It truly was a life-changing experience.
It opened up a world of critical thinking that I will never get at my home school. Most of the material in Area I was new; I am happy about the exposure, meeting other students who have academic motivations similar to mine was pleasing, as well.
I had a lot of fun. All of the activities and lectures that were provided for us really made my experience, as well as my math classes.
AGS was an awesome experience, one of the best I have ever had. I would not change this experience for anything. I really wish it were longer. I have had so much fun here. Gospel Choir is a big part of that. It was one of the best things here. It had a positive impact on my life.

5: very beneficial. I loved this experience and I am so sad it is almost over.
LOVED IT! If I could I wouldn’t leave. Don’t make me go!
It was wonderful despite the residence life. I was able to come out of my comfort zone and establish new relationships. I am very thankful for the experience.
For various reasons a 7/10. My mother, Betty Jo Brooks, attended the very first AGS then taught non-Euclidean geometry here for a few years, and based on her stories I must say, I expected more. I realize it’s no longer six weeks but I never sank my teeth into it as much as I would have liked – still unforgettable though!
--AWESOME
I wish I had been able to see all the lectures. However, I am very satisfied and only wish the program was longer.
It was okay but not great. I think people would be more open if the program was six weeks but selected only 300-200 students instead of 400.
The overall experience was amazing. At first I was reall ynervous about coming here, but I am so happy that I did come. I met so many friendly people, learned new things, and experienced a new environment. I would recommend this to everybody. SO FUN!
Such a great experience. Being around kids who love learning like me was exciting. From my roommate to gospel choir and everything in betweenI had fun every time.

This has probably been my best ever summer. I enjoyed meeting all of the new people, hearing about different opinions, seeing different area’s work, and attending my classes. It was an excellent experience and I would recommend anyone to come.
I loved it here and I don’t want to leave all of the amazing people that were here! I am definitely coming to the reunion next year!
