Asking for Recommendations
Professors are more than willing to provide students with references and recommendation letters for internships, jobs, study abroad applications etc. Here are a few things to keep in mind in order when making such requests:
- It is best to ask at least one month in advance.
- Provide the recommender with a copy of your resume, your application essay (if applicable) or a few sentences about why you have chosen to apply to the program.
