Oathout Educational Technology Center
One of the SLTC’s most innovative features is the Oathout Educational Technology Center that weaves state-of-the-art teaching, learning, and social technology into the fabric of student life. Students can work collaboratively with their classmates on course assignments using the technology located throughout this facility, while faculty members can incorporate the latest technology into their lectures and assignments. Students and faculty are able to prepare multimedia presentations of their original research for academic conferences and professional meetings. The Educational Technology Center will better enables Hendrix students and faculty members to connect with their peers around the world.
Worsham Student Programming Area
In recognition of Gordon and Sudie Worsham’s generous gift, the 6,000-square-foot performance space on the first floor of the new Student Life and Technology Building has been named The Nannie Worsham Student Programming Area. This space is used by the College for concerts, dances, lectures, and other types of cultural programs and performances that enrich the quality of life for every member of the Hendrix community.
Student Life and Student Services
The Student Life and Technology Center is the center of life on campus, providing programs that enhance the experience of every student at Hendrix. The 78,000-square-foot SLTC features a magnificent main dining hall with a beautiful two-story cathedral ceiling. There is also a more casual café and performance space for student events and national touring acts, office and work space for student organizations (including Student Senate, Social Committee, and many others) and student media (including KHDX, The Profile, and Troubadour).

Hendrix College Information Desk
The Information Desk, near the south entrance to the building, is the place to go for information about what is happening in the SLTC and across the Hendrix campus. The master calendar and event services are also housed at the information desk.
Offices
Odyssey Office
Offices for Your Hendrix Odyssey: Engaging in Active Learning will be located inside the Student Life and Technology Center. Students will enjoy convenient access to staff members who coordinate internships, international study, and volunteer service projects. There will also be a resource library for students to investigate internship, study abroad, and other engaged learning opportunities. Because students must complete at least three Odyssey experiences, the SLTC will support the academic and personal journey of every Hendrix student. From the Arkansas Delta to Africa, every Hendrix Odyssey will begin in the SLTC.

Religious Life
Offices for the Chaplain and Religious Life Programs, and the Miller Center for Vocation, Ethics, and Calling will be located inside the SLTC.
Office of the Chaplain
The Office of the Chaplain, along with the Religious Life Council, provides opportunities for spiritual growth, theological exploration, moral development, and the growing expression of one’s religious faith through weekly activities such as chapel and communion service, Bible studies, retreats, and lectures.
Miller Center for Vocation, Ethics and Calling
The Miller Center assists students through challenging life and career decisions, and sponsors service-based internships, personal growth retreats, mission trips and other programs that offer students an academic exploration of faith and vocation.

Offices are located on both floors and will include spaces for Academic Support Services, the Odyssey program, Religious Life, and Student Affairs (excluding Health and Counseling).
