Meet our Career Services Specialist and Graduate School Counselor

Moore, Amanda

Dr. Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from Hendrix, a Master of Theological Studies in World Religions from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership and Community Development from Drew University. Moore previously worked at Harvard Business School, Hale & Dorr Counselors at Law, and the University of Central Arkansas. She also served as a Deacon and Youth Minister at Oak Forest United Methodist Church, and she has worked with Hendrix’s Campus Quakers. Moore currently serves on the Boards of the Faulkner County Historical Society, A Bookcase for Every Child, and St. Scholastica Monastery, and she is an incoming Board Member for the International Center for Conciliation. Dr. Moore is a Commissioned Chaplain for Pastoral Ministries in the Episcopal Church, and as a Spiritual Director with membership in Spiritual Directors International, she has expertise in contemplative practices, servant leadership, and community building. Dr. Moore has previously served on the Boards of the Conway Noon Lions Club, the Arkansas Library Association, ARKLink, the Arkansas Literary Festival, the Faulkner County Literacy Council, Community of Hope, and Bethlehem House.
