Alumni Weekend 2017

CONWAY, Ark (April 10, 2017) – Hendrix College Alumni Weekend 2017 will be Friday, April 21 through Monday, April 24. Sponsored by the Office of Alumni and Constituent Engagement, Alumni Weekend 2017 will feature a full state of activities and events, including last lectures from retiring faculty, campus tours, a theatre department production, a math symposium, and more.

Friday, April 21

  • Half Century Club Lunch inducting the Class of 1967  
  • Hendrix-Rhodes-Sewanee Mathematics and Computer Science Symposium featuring Dr. Robert C. Eslinger, Elbert L. Fausett Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Mathematics 

Saturday, April 22

  • Alumni Awards Brunch honoring 2017 Alumni Award Recipients: Gabrielle Schonder '07 (Outstanding Young Alumna Award), Dee Dee Allen (James E. Major Service Award), Martha Love Faulkner '49 (Hendrix Humanitarian Award) - Joan Davis Wagnon '62 (Distinguished Alumna Award, who will receive her award during Alumni Weekend 2018).
  • Retiring Faculty Last Lectures to Alumni featuring Dr. Ann Willyard, Dr. Tom Goodwin, and Dr. Alice Hines

Sunday, April 23

  • Alumni Memorial Worship Service in Greene Chapel

Monday, April 24

Warrior Booster Club Golf Tournament at Centennial Valley Country Club
