CONWAY, Ark. (November 14, 2016) – The Hendrix College
Department of Music will host a Fall Concert by the Chamber Players, Composers
Forum, and Jazz Ensemble on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m., in Reves Recital
Hall.
The program is free and open to the public. For

The Hendrix College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Dr. Barry
McVinney, will perform Fly Me to the Moon
by Bart Howard, Panama by William
Tyres, and Softly, as in a Morning
Sunrise by Sigmund Romberg/Oscar Hammerstein II.
The chamber and composer’s forum portion of the program will include
Music for Queen Mary II by Henry
Purcell, Mozart’s Motet, Beethoven’s Trio, Opus 11, Rock Etude for Solo Violin by guest composer Cory Smith, and Never Leave by Unrequited Poetry and
Music (Jorrell Bonner and D.S. Lowe).
