CONWAY, Ark. (October 12, 2016) – The Hendrix College chapter
of Project Pericles will sponsor its biennial “Know Your Ballot” event on
Monday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. in Mills A in the Mills Social Sciences Center.
This nonpartisan session will focus on the voting
process, as well as the arguments put forward by advocates and opponents of the
seven proposed initiated acts and state constitutional amendments on the
November 4th ballot.
Local candidates on the ballot in the Hendrix precinct have
been invited to say a few words and stay around to visit with voters.
All students and community members are invited to attend this
event as you prepare to cast an informed vote on November 8th.
