CONWAY, Ark. (September 13, 2016) – The 2016-2017 Hendrix
College theatre and dance season begins during Family Weekend 2016, as the
Hendrix Dance Ensemble will perform Let
Your Light In, choreographed and directed by Hendrix dance professor
Brigitte Rogers, on Friday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2
p.m., in Reves Recital Hall.
Morning matinee performances of the Hendrix Dance Ensemble’s
fall production are available for local elementary school students on September

The Hendrix Players will present the musical Sweeney Todd-The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,
based on the book by Hugh Wheeler, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen
Sondheim, based on an adaptation by Christopher Bond, and directed by Ann
Muse with music direction by Mark Binns, on Wednesday, Nov. 2 – Friday,
Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m., in Cabe Theatre.

Spring productions will include The Sparrow, written
by Chris Matthews, Jake Minton, and Nathan Allen and directed by the Hendrix
Murphy Guest Director Tony Horne, on Wednesday, Feb. 22 – Friday, Feb. 24,
at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 25, at 2 p.m., in Cabe Theatre. Reservations are
