CONWAY, Ark.
(September 13, 2016) – Hendrix College is #72 in the 2017 U.S News & World Report “Best National Liberal Arts Colleges”
ranking, advancing 10 spots from last year.
Hendrix is also
#4 on a list of the top 10 “Most Innovative” National Liberal Arts Colleges. The
institutions on this list were nominated by college presidents, provosts and
admissions dean, who were asked which schools are making “the most innovative
improvements in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology
or facilities.”
“Leaping 10 spots
on the Best National Liberal Arts Colleges ranking and appearing, once again,
on the list of Most Innovative National Liberal Arts Colleges is a great testament
to what we do and who we are at Hendrix,” said Hendrix President Bill Tsutsui.
“This recognition
is also a reflection of our focus on the academic program and student
experience, the quality and commitment of our faculty, who inspire our students
in the classroom and beyond, and the opportunities that our students have to
develop their fullest potential and to lead lives of accomplishment after
Hendrix” Tsutsui said.
Hendrix is the only top 100 nationally ranked liberal arts

college in Texas and the states surrounding it in this year’s U.S.
