CONWAY, Ark. (April 11, 2016) — The 2016 Concert in the Park
will be on Monday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Staples Fountain.
The concert will feature the Hendrix College Wind Ensemble,
Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble. The
Wind, Jazz, and Percussion Ensembles are composed of students from a wide
variety of majors on campus.
Dr. Stephen James, Hendrix Instructor of Trumpet, will be
featured as a soloist with the Wind Ensemble. Dr. Sarah Stankiewicz Dailey,
Hendrix Instructor of Voice, will also join the Wind Ensemble to perform the Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.

The event, hosted by the Hendrix College Music Department is
