Concert in the Park

CONWAY, Ark. (April 11, 2016) — The 2016 Concert in the Park will be on Monday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m. at Staples Fountain.

The concert will feature the Hendrix College Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble.  The Wind, Jazz, and Percussion Ensembles are composed of students from a wide variety of majors on campus.

Dr. Stephen James, Hendrix Instructor of Trumpet, will be featured as a soloist with the Wind Ensemble. Dr. Sarah Stankiewicz Dailey, Hendrix Instructor of Voice, will also join the Wind Ensemble to perform the Star Spangled Banner and America the Beautiful.
