Faculty Trumpet Recital

Stephen James Faculty RecitalCONWAY, Ark. (March 18, 2016) — Dr. Stephen James, Instructor of Trumpet, will present a faculty recital on Tuesday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Reves Recital Hall.

The program features a wide variety of music, including works by George Gershwin, Henri Tomasi, Richard Peaslee, and Edwin Franko Goldman. 

Dr. Gretchen Renshaw, Hendrix Wind Ensemble Conductor and Instructor of Low Brass, will join James to perform a duet by Philip Rice. Renshaw will also perform a euphonium solo by Friedrich Gulda.

Dr. John Krebs, Hendrix Professor of Music, will be accompanying James and Renshaw on piano.
