Science Students, Faculty Share Research at State Conference

CONWAY, Ark. (November 10, 2014) – Eight Hendrix science students and four faculty members from the Biology and Chemistry departments presented their research this weekend at the Arkansas INBRE Research Conference in Fayetteville, Ark.

Chemistry professor Dr. Andres Caro gave the invited faculty presentation for the chemistry section. Drs. Chris Marvin (chemistry), Rick Murray (biology) and Andrew Schurko (biology) also participated in the conference.

Lindsey Orgren ’15 was selected to give an oral presentation on her chemistry research and was recognized with the second place award.
