Hendrix among America’s ‘Smartest’ Colleges

CONWAY, Ark. (September 23, 2013) – Hendrix recently appeared in a ranking of America's 501 Smartest Colleges published by Business Insider.

In the list available here Hendrix is ranked #80 based on student test scores.

“Our recognition by Business Insider is affirmation yet again that Hendrix attracts some of the best and brightest students from Arkansas, across the country, and around the world,” said Acting President W. Ellis Arnold III. “These rankings clearly demonstrate that the quality of our academic programs creates an environment where bright students flourish and reach their full potential.”

The list is topped by Cal Tech, Princeton, Harvard, and Yale and includes universities and liberal arts colleges together. Hendrix and fellow Associated Colleges of South member institutions University of Richmond, Centre College, and Rhodes College appear in the top 100.
