Conway, Ark. (April 21, 2013) – Hendrix College Dining
Services recently received national recognition, taking five National Association
of College and University Food Service (NACUFS) Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards –
the ultimate professional tribute in college culinary arts.
Hendrix won the following awards:
- Gold – Residential Dining Concepts
- Gold – Catering Online Menu
- Gold – Retail Sales, Single Concept
- Bronze – Residential Dining Special Event
- Bronze – Catering Special Event
Named for a NACUFS founder, past president and
highly regarded innovator, the Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards celebrate
exemplary menus, presentations, special event planning, and new dining
concepts, and provide an avenue for sharing ideas and creative
presentations in campus dining services.
Founded in
1876, Hendrix College is a national leader in engaged liberal arts and sciences
education. For the fifth consecutive year, Hendrix was named one of the
