CONWAY, Ark. (April 12, 2013) - The Hendrix College Department of Foreign Languages will host "Les Petits Français à Conway" Monday, June 3 - Friday, June 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The program will include language instruction, crafts, games, computer work in a language lab, music, and French cartoons and is designed to provide young students grades 4, 5, and 6 with an introduction to French and Francophone language and culture. Hendrix language professor Dr. Cathy Jellenik and instructor Séverine Cottrant will lead the program, along with Hendrix students who are majoring or minoring in French. The Hendrix students
seek to earn Service to the World or Professional and Leadership Development Odyssey credit for their participation in the program.
Cost for the program is $150 for the first child enrolled from a family and $125 for each additional sibling. The cost includes all crafts, learning materials, and snacks. Campers must bring their lunch.
