Hendrix Wind Ensemble Students Selected for Intercollegiate Honor Band

CONWAY, Ark. (February 7, 2013) - Six Hendrix College Wind Ensemble students have been selected to perform in the Arkansas Intercollegiate Band on February 14 and 15 in Hot Springs. 

The students selected include:

  • Calvin Cochran '13, trombone
  • Sarah Eddington '16, clarinet
  • Caitlin Hoffman '16, horn
  • Aaron Rice '14, trombone
  • Bernard Smith'15, clarinet
  • Aaron Steinberg '15, tenor saxophone

 This ensemble is an honor group for college students and is held in conjunction with the Arkansas All-State Conference. The students will rehearse for two days and present a concert at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at the Hot Springs Convention Center under the direction of Dr. Kevin Sedatole from Michigan State University.
