Helping Out: Hendrix Village Hosts Community Programs

CONWAY, Ark. (September 12, 2012) - The Village at Hendrix is offering two important opportunities to support the local community.

  • On Friday, September 14, every cinnamon roll and grilled breakfast sandwich purchased at Panera Bread will earn $1 per item for the Conway Public Schools Foundation's backpack program. This program provides a weekly backpack full of food to elementary school-aged children at risk of going hungry over the weekend when federal free or reduced-price meals are unavailable.
  • The Village will also host the Conway Parks Department's Silver Moon Cinema, presenting The Hunger Games at 7:30 p.m. Friday on the Village Green. Admission is a $1 donation, which will support the Alzheimer's Association.

And next month, the 2nd Annual Trunk-or-Treat will be Friday Oct. 26 starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by Ghostbusters at 7:30 p.m.
