Perryville United Methodist Church is looking for a part-time Youth Director. The youth director would be responsible for the youth ministry of the church, including regular meetings for fellowship and spiritual development. We seek an energetic, enthusiastic generalist with ideas for active ministry with youth, children, and adults. We offer the total experience of typical mid-size congregational ministry with an emphasis on ministry with youth, seventh grade up. The successful applicant will enjoy working with Mary Tom Taylor, program coordinator, and Pastor Pam Estes, and a strong congregation of dedicated disciples. Taylor grew up at Grand and has experience in banking as well as total ministry (bells, choir, children, youth, older adults, education). Pastor Estes is in her third year at Grand. With three weekly worship services, the intern will have opportunity to preach and participate in leading worship. Singing applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
