Hendrix College seeks an individual to fill the position of Data Entry Specialist. Major responsibilities include to maintain all systems related to data entry, including both print and
electronic media, with prospective students and families, school counselors,
and other constituents of the Admission Office. Specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for all data entry including travel,
application, and other data entry as assigned
- Prepare application files for review by admission
counselors and the admission committee, including evaluation of transcripts
- Retrieve on-line applications
- Generate reports to support Admission efforts
- Coordinate with Registrar’s Office to ensure all
necessary information for new students is transmitted to Registrar in a time
manner
- Supervise assigned student workers
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as back-up to the receptionist in answering
incoming telephone calls and providing coverage at the front desk when needed
- Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
Education: High school diploma required.
Experience: Previous related experience will be
given preference.
Skills: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail; strong written and
verbal communication skills; self-motivated, professional and team-oriented; ability
to work independently and to maintain confidentiality; and the ability to
articulate the value of an undergraduate, residential, liberal arts education.
