The Department of Physics at Hendrix College invites
applications for a one-year Assistant Professor position beginning in August
2014.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in physics or a
closely-related field at the time the appointment begins. The ideal candidate will be able to teach
across all levels of the physics curriculum.
The application should include a letter addressing the
candidate¹s interest in teaching in a demanding liberal arts environment, a
curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, three letters of
recommendation (including the phone numbers and email addresses of the
referees), and transcripts of all graduate and undergraduate work.
