Managing Folders in Office 365 Webmail

Creating a new folder

  1. On the lefthand side of your screen, click the + icon next to Folders.
  2. Type a name for the folder in the box, and then press Enter.

Renaming a folder

  1. On the lefthand side of your screen, click the More link under Folders.
  2. Under your name, right-click on the folder you wish to rename, then click on "Rename".
  3. Type a name for the folder in the box, and then press Enter.

Moving a folder

  1. On the lefthand side of your screen, click the More link under Folders.
  2. Under your name, right-click on the folder you wish to move, then click on "Move". 
  3. Click where you want to move the folder (i.e., if you want the folder to be a subfolder of the Inbox, click the Inbox).
  4. Click Move.

Deleting a folder

  1. On the lefthand side of your screen, click the More link under Folders.
  2. Under your name, right-click on the folder you wish to move, then click on "Move". 
  3. Right-click the folder you want to delete and, from the menu that appears, choose Delete.
  4. Click on "OK".
