Seraph Brass, a dynamic brass quintet drawing from a roster of America’s top female brass players, is a featured guest artist in the Harold Thompson Recital Series at Hendrix College. The free performance, which is open to the public, is set for Tuesday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Staples Auditorium. The lineup of Seraph Brass for this performance consists of Mary Elizabeth Bowden, trumpet; Jean Laurenz, trumpet; Rachel Velvikis, horn; Hana Beloglavec, trombone; and Dr. Gretchen Renshaw James, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands at Hendrix College, tuba.
