  • SAVE THE DATE - April 4, 2024

    The Hendrix student experience begins and ends with the traditional class walk across the bridge—first on Move-in Day and again, four years later, on Graduation Day.

    Traditions matter at Hendrix.

    Shirttails, birthday celebrations in The Caf (and the fountain!), the Candlelight Carol Service, Warrior athletics, Campus Kitty, SOCO (Studio 54, Ghost Roast), residence life, Student Senate, Odyssey, Honors Day, The President’s Medal.

    Then there are the everyday traditions that play such an important role in the Hendrix student experience—small classes, getting to know your professors well, research with faculty, and so much more.

    These beloved traditions remain strong today, thanks in large part to support from alumni, parents, and friends.

    Challenges

    • Worsham Family Leadership Challenge - ​Each new and increased leadership-level gift of $1,000 or more will be matched by the Worsham Family Leadership Challenge. With this challenge, your gift will help support even more deserving students. Will you consider a gift at this level to double your impact?
    • ​​Anonymous Alumni Challenge - Each new alumni gift of any amount will be matched by an anonymous alumni donor up to $5,000. Please consider making your first gift and double the impact.
    • ​President Petersen Alumni & Friends Challenge ​- Each new gift from alumni and friends will be matched. 
    • ​​Anonymous Parent of a First-Year Student Parent Challenge​ - All gifts from parents will be matched.
    • Class of 2008 Challenge - All gifts from the Class of 2008 will be matched up to $1,000.

    The residential liberal arts experience at Hendrix has transformed the lives of generations of Hendrix alumni.  By participating in our Day of Giving at any level, your giving helps to ensure it remains accessible and affordable for future students.
