Happenings

Festive Finals Week
The library will offer stress relief through therapy dogs, a festive holiday tree sporting books available for "adoption," and love offerings in the form of treats and caffeinated beverages.  In addition, SASA volunteers will offer security escorts via golf cart most late nights of finals.

Keep up with our hours and animal visits on our Hours page!

Fashion History:  Contextualizing the Hendrix College Vintage Collection Through Space, Time, and Culture
The library is proud to host this capstone project by Hannah Christeson. The poster and artifacts showcasing Hannah's work this semester will be on display on the first floor through the end of finals.

The Great War at Hendrix:  Life at Hendrix 1914-1918 and After
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I, the second floor rotunda exhibit explores ways the Great War impacted life at Hendrix and sister college Galloway.

In this exhibit, curated by Sarah Bryan and Rita Mackintosh, find ads and articles from the campus newspapers, curricular offerings of the time, a few pictures, and original poems students wrote

Writing Associates are available in the Writing Center to help with any writing endeavor - find details on their schedule.

Duke the Therapy Dog
Find Duke Thursdays from 3-5 pm on the first floor of the library.  If his schedule changes, find out about it here.
