Truman Scholarship
The Truman is awarded to college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in public service. Past service and a clear plan for future work as a “change agent” are necessary for pursuit of the Truman. Students must be in the upper one-fourth of their class to be nominated by the College.This award requires institutional endorsement.

Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship
The Pickering Undergraduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship seeks to recruit talented sophomores (at least a 3.2 GPA) in academic programs relevant to international affairs, political and economic analysis, administration, management, and science policy.  The goal is to attract students who have an interest in pursuing a Foreign Service career in the US Department of State.  The fellowship award includes tuition, room, board, and mandatory fees during the senior year of college and during the first year of graduate study.
