Honorary Degrees Nomination Form (Old)

Please keep in mind that this nomination form is the primary document used by the Committee on Honorary Degrees in its preliminary deliberations — it is therefore important that you provide as much information as possible to support your nomination.

You may nominate an individual or an organization. Individuals are nominated for honorary degrees, while organizations are nominated for the Spirit of Hendrix award, but the same process is used for the selection and conferral of both awards.

• Outstanding accomplishment in the honoree's field, with national status wherever appropriate;
• Demonstration of the values articulated in the Statement of Purpose of the College, making the honoree a fitting role model for students;
• Some tie to Hendrix, Arkansas, or this region of the country which makes recognition especially appropriate.
